Kristian Rocking his Hooker T for Vegas!

Kristian J. Hanson is a wonderful writer. His werewolf comedic piece - FAT KID'S WOLFY REVENGE (Not for the Weak Hearted or Mature Minded) is something I have been looking forward to getting into. We had the opportunity to peek a little at it and had some genuine lols. Tried of sparkly vampires? Try this fiction on for supernatural teenage angst.

The gentleman also supports other independent artists as can be proudly demonstrated by what he wore on his last trip to Las Vegas. Very fucking cool.

Thank you, Kristian, for the book, the support, and being a rad guy (besides being a Blackhawk's fan, but no one's perfect).

Hooker On The Shelf!

Hookers are popular the whole world over it seems. I saw this online today and it made me smile.

After my initial disappointment the other week, I'm happy to say that the good staff at the FOPP store in Nottingham have gone the extra mile to get DHIAT on the shelves and into my collection! Love the extras folks - I never knew how laid-back the Canadian Police are & just how easy it is to get your hands on sexy goats over there. - Peter Bakewell

Seeing the box on the self in the UK is stupid awesome. Thank you to everyone who has gone out and brought their own DEAD HOOKER IN A TRUNK home. You rock hard, boys and girls.

HEAD SPACE: Inside The Mind Of The Indie Filmmakers: Jen & Sylvia Soska

Though we've been keeping our crimson lips uncharacteristically sealed, we decided it was high time to open up just a bit with the wonderful Joshua Hull of HEAD SPACE.

We were delighted to spend a little time chit-chatting about ourselves, our first born baby, DEAD HOOKER IN A TRUNK, our upcoming film, AMERICAN MARY, what it's like to work with our genetic double, and oh-so-much more.

Here's a lil' goody....

"A lot of MARY counters the style of HOOKER. We want to show people that we don’t just plan on making the same thing over and over again. There are elements that I would say is part of our style that will carrying onto all films – like edgy ‘what the fuck’ content and a very crass, dark humor. You have to first and foremost make something you are really passionate about – something that means something to you. If we didn’t love DEAD HOOKER IN A TRUNK so much, as the whole team did, then we wouldn’t have ended up with the same film that we did. We’re taking that lesson onto MARY." ~ Sylvia Soska

It was, to say the least, an epic interview. Part one is up and at 'em RIGHT HERE!

Stay tuned for part two.

And thank you, Joshua, for talking with us!

Bloody Best!

Dead Hooker - The Musical Review!

People say we're funny. People say we suck. We're fine with both. We are the officially acknowledged unofficial spokeswhores for Evil Dead-The Musical (THE GREATEST PIECE OF ENTERTAINMENT IN THE HISTORY OF HISTORY PERIOD). We make comedy videos and short horror films. We have a podcast. We write things. We have a rapidly growing fan base that is scattered all over the world (Really) - Mike and Ike

Who are Mike and Ike? Delicious bite-sized candy. Yes and no. In this situation, they are a deliciously informed, horror film making, podcast rocking duo who realize the bloody brilliance of the EVIL DEAD Musical. They are also funny as fuck.

We have been bestowed the huge honor of a musical review on DEAD HOOKER IN A TRUNK by these lovely gentlemen and we couldn't be happier. That's right, girls and boys, a mother fucking musical review. Fucking, eh!

Don't take my word for it, treat your ears to the musical awesomeness below...

Dead Hooker song by Twisted Twins Productions

Brand Spanking New Brutal As Hell Interview with the Twisted Twins

"Canada has given us some great things over the years: David Cronenberg; Neil Young; a place for America’s draft-dodgers to go. And now, Canada gives us one of the most exciting independent filmmaking teams around right now, Jen and Sylvia Soska of Twisted Twins Productions." ~Ben Bussey, BRUTAL AS HELL

Ben Bussey is an outstanding writer for BRUTAL AS HELL and he has one particular trait that really makes me respect him.

Honesty.
The first time he had heard of us, he wasn't sold. Much like a cat, when we hear that someone doesn't quite see us as "their cup of tea", I like the person all the more. I hope for the opportunity to win them over. One thing that I've heard come up again and again from reviewers when they watch DEAD HOOKER IN A TRUNK is that they are surprised at how good it is. And that's more than fair.

"But allow me to convince you."

Ben was kind enough to give the film a go and take the time to have a little chat with us. We thoroughly enjoyed talking with him and here's the delicious interview that ensued.

Ben also did his homework. He asked us something no one's ever asked us about that we've just been dying to talk about. That can only be ONE thing, boys and grrls...

That's right.

But enough blabbing on my account. Get the FULL ARTICLE AND INTERVIEW with BRUTAL AS HELL's Ben Bussey and we Twisted Twins HERE!

Bloody Best!
