DEAD HOOKER IN A TRUNK will be released in the UK May 23rd

Is it true? Could it possibly be happening after all this time? This morning, Sylvia and I released this statement to the world...
Hello Ladies and Gentlemen, It is an extreme pleasure to let you know that 'Dead Hooker in a Trunk' will be released May 23rd in the UK - courtesy of Bounty Films! Thank you for all your support that has gotten us to this point. None of this would have been possible without you. More news to follow - soon there will be hookers (dead) for everyone!

Jen and Sylv
A VERY special thanks to Ben Hellwig at Bounty for giving our DEAD HOOKER a home, to all the wonderful folks at Industry Works for not only believing in DHIAT, but also our AMERICAN MARY, and, of course, to ALL the fuckin' outstanding friends and supporters of the film!

Without all of you, we wouldn't be anywhere. You came out to see the film, checked it out, reviewed it, blogged about it, facebooked about it, tweeted it, re-posted links, and told your friends. We are eternally in your debt and promise from the very bottoms of our Twisted Little Hearts that we will spend the rest of our lives repaying you with kick ass films that are provocative, hilarious, disgusting, sexy, sweet, terrifying, and utterly insane. We LOVE the thriving horror community and cannot thank you enough for the way that you have embraced us and our work. It means more to us than we can ever say.

Here is some early excitement on the FANTASTICAL news from...

Scott Ruth at the Examiner~!

Chuck Conry at Zombies DON'T Run~!

Zach Shildwachter at the Blood Sprayer~!

Uncle Creepy at Dread Central~!

Adam M. Williams at Dead Reckless~!

Thank you so indescribably much, my friends! Today is a victory for us all! Today, the UK (where some of the most amazing Hooker supporters roam!) and tomorrow world domination ;)

The Blood Sprayer Fuckin' Rocks!!

As proud as we are of our first born demented baby, DEAD HOOKER IN A TRUNK, it is truly the people who have stood behind it that have taken it from our love letter to the genre to the cult classic, indie phenomenon that is has become. If a tree falls in the woods and no one's around to hear it, does it make a sound? Well, TECHNICALLY, no. According to my 8th grade science teacher, sound cannot exist without a receiver. So in the same vein of thinking, what is the point of making a film without an audience to receive it? For that reason, we will always put our audience first when it comes to our work.

We want to take this opportunity to thank some people who have not only taken a chance on checking out a strange little Canadian oddity titled DEAD HOOKER IN A TRUNK, but have given us their overwhelming support. They've supported and promoted the (un)holy hell out of Twisted Twins Productions and DHIAT. They've supported Women In Horror recognition month, they've supported our annual Massive Blood Drive, they've even taken the time to recognize the legendary "man behind the curtain", our co-conspirator, our Goody Two Shoes, CJ Wallis.
And these people know their shit. They've seen it all and support indie film like no one else, sifting through the unmentionables and bringing hidden film making gems into the light of day. So, from the bottoms of our twisted little hearts, we want to extend our most humble thanks to THE BLOOD SPRAYER. Thank you, Kristy Jett. Thank you, Zach Shildwachter. Thank you, Wes Allen. Thank you to ALL the wonderful staff of BLOOD SPRAYER. Bless you and your dedication to horror.

We are blown away to have our DEAD HOOKER IN A TRUNK included on Wes' "2010, Wha' Happened?" article. We appear as one of his FAVORITE FILMS of the year and let us tell you, boys and grrls, it's one HELL of an honor.
On the list appears the cream of the proverbial crop of 2010: MACHETE, A SERBIAN FILM, LONG PIGS, FROZEN, GRAPHIC SEXUAL HORROR, BAD BIOLOGY, GEEK WAR, THE CRAZIES, THE GOOD SISTERS, and ENTER THE VOID. Find out why you should know these films by reading the FULL ARTICLE HERE. There are also some honorable mentions that I'll let you discover on your own.

Our most sincere gratitude to the gore~geous folks at THE BLOOD SPRAYER for making this world a little more radcore. Okay, okay, a LOT more radcore.

Bloody Best!

Jesus Loves Zach Shildwachter

"You son of a whore that fucks his mother. I'm going to miss my youth group for this shit, you fist fucker? I'm going to get that dirty motel manager to ride your fucking ass. What do you think about that, cowboy? You ever been skull fucked after an ass rape? Jesus doesn't love you."

~Goody Two-Shoes (DEAD HOOKER IN A TRUNK)

Completely cool and completely a random act of awesomeness, our friend Zach Shildwachter - of the Blood Sprayer - made this beautiful water color rendition of Goody Two-Shoes/CJ Wallis. The 'Jesus Doesn't Love You' banner is the knockout punch of fucking rad town and Zach is the mayor!

You don't know Zach? Get caught up here. And read his sweet-ass articles here.

Zach, I think the three of us have a big(ger) crush on you.

Rob Dimension is Wicked Awesome

In the world there are things awesome, things not awesome, and, most epically, things wicked awesome. Gentlemen and horror advocates Rob Dimension and Zach Shildwachter are two men who are listed under wicked awesome. When we found out that these two gents spoke recently, we just had to share their intimate conversations with the world.

Recently, Zach spoke with Rob via Bloodsprayer.com. If you need a refresher on these aforementioned men of radcore proportions, read on... In Zach's gore~geous words...

"Rob Dimension is a man that wears many hats, and under all those hats is some awesome hair. He’s one of the Hosts of Late Night At The Horror Hotel that’s a staple of Philly TV sets as well as a crusader for all things Horror. Whether at conventions, on multiple websites, or even ringside at the wrestling arena, Rob kicks a lot of ass. Just tune in and see why."

Not only do these gents know their shit, they've also been outstanding supporters of indie horror and ourselves. We must most humbly thank Zach and Rob for their tireless promotion and support of horror. It's people like them that help make the horror industry the thriving community it is.

For the delicious interview, read on HERE!

They even make mention of your friendly neighborhood Twisted Twins...

Thank you from the bottoms of our twisted little hearts, gentlemen, and thank you for all that you do for horror!!

XO,
Jen

Look Mom, It's The Best DHIAT Review Ever!

In our lives, there are moments that are just cool.

Moments that take you away from your shitty day job, that cunt that was a cunt to you, screaming kids, ailing loved ones, mountains of bills, or whatever form of suck you have to deal with. Yesterday after working til the wee hours we found that there was a new review up for 'Dead Hooker in a Trunk' by Zach Shildwachter of www.bloodsprayer.com. It was so beyond cool, that we are still smiling about it today. It was so rad that I was tempted to call my mom, but 2am is never the best time to call.

Firstly, Zach has an extremely entertaining and articulate style of writing. His word usage and analogies are fucking hilarious and hip. Secondly, he knew his shit inside and out on the crew, cameos, music, production, stunts, and everything about the film inside and out. Incredibly insightful, thoughtful, and in depth review. It gives you a real insider feel to what it's like to make a low budget indie with such a kick ass team.

If you haven't seen the film yet, are wondering what it's like -- check out his kick ass review here. If you dig what you hear and want to support this indie horror pass it along.

Who was on the team that made 'Dead Hooker in a Trunk'? Some of the most talented, genuinely rad, hard working people you could ever hope to get to work on your set. It's not everyday that you find such a level of talent come behind such a crazy idea.

Thank you for all the emails and messages regarding screenings and screening requests. That deceased slut might be coming to a venue near you soon! If not, let us know and we'll do our best to get it there.

Your friendly neighbourhood (because in Canada we put in a 'u') Twisted Twins,
~Jen and Sylv
