ANYTHING HORROR"Just got an email from my favorite twisted sisters, Jen and Sylvia Soska, about their debut film DEAD HOOKER IN A TRUNK. We all know this isn’t a new film. In fact I review it back in July of 2010 (see my review here). But back then it was a relatively unknown film and I wanted to help the Soska sisters change that. I don’t know how much I personally helped*, but today DEAD HOOKER IN A TRUNK has become a cult classic and is finally getting the recognition it deserves. Not only has it been picked up by IFC Midnight, but it’s currently playing on VOD, it’s having a limited theatrical run in the US, its available on DVD in both Australia and the UK, and the rest of the world will be able to get the DVD early in 2012, with a ton of DVD extras (deleted scenes, outtakes, a behind the scenes featurette, director commentary, and technical commentary)." - Scott Shoyer
