This is a good example of what Hollywood does not have the guts or balls, or even creative drive to come out with. Leave it to the indies to make cinema exciting again. DEAD HOOKER IN A TRUNK has surpassed all odds. A little indie flick made during the writers strike of 2007 with a cast and crew that volunteered their time. A film that cost a mere $2,500. A film by a pair of first time filmmakers. It's now being released by IFC Midnight worldwide, is already out in the UK and Australia, and it even got a limited theatrical run. What made it possible? You guys. You sought it out, you spread the word, and you demanded to see it. What began in 2007 has finally come to this in early 2012. DEAD HOOKER IN A TRUNK, as of January 31st, will be available everywhere and we have you to thank for it.
