There's nothing quite like the Horrorphilia Podcast. It feels like me, Jen, and our horror buddies - Jason, Jeremy, Chuck, Gonzo, and sometimes James - are just hanging out in our living room, drinking drinks, having a laugh, and just really loving the genre. We get to review films which is pretty cool. Every time there is a hidden gem that the gentlemen introduce us to, never making us feel stupid for not already knowing it - they're a great group. Being rad is how they roll. Listen to a few podcasts and you'll see what I mean.
It was with great honor to come onto the Christmas show. There was a lot of fun and laughing and, of course, horror!
"Another holiday and another podcast with Jen and Sylvia Soska, directors of Dead Hooker In A Trunk and the upcoming movie American Mary. The ladies and Horrorphilia crew get into the holiday spirit by talk of A Serbian Film, dead dogs, dead cats and other fun stuff. We also review three Christmas themed movies: Elves, To All A Good Night and the awesomely fun movie short Treevenge! We try our best to get as much information as we can about American Mary and other future projects. All this plus the Wonder Years, wrestling, samurai swords, and other stuff you dont want to miss."
Want to know our collective thoughts on TREEVENGE, TO ALL A GOOD NIGHT, and the Nazi/Satan classic ELVES? Want to know more about the upcoming AMERICAN MARY? Did you know we and Chuck all love wrestling? Did you know we have plans to make a wrestling movie? Introduce your rum to your eggnog, slap in those holiday jammies, and treat your ears to this fantastic, joyous Horrorphilia Podcast. You'll be jolly that you did!
Thank you to the gentlemen for having us on the show. See you for the next celebration... hmm... Valentines Day? Are there horror movies for St. Patricks? I still haven't seen TROLL 2. Just saying. Merry Christmas to all and to all a good listen. Thank you for all the beautiful and sweet holiday messages. We will be getting back to y'all!
Merry Christmas!
Jen and Sylv
